Motorcoach Parking
For your convenience, the City of Galena has established and signed routes, loading zones and parking areas for motorcoaches. Motorcoach loading and unloading is available on Commerce Street across from the Old Market House State Historic Site and on Water Street across from the Post Office. Motorcoach parking is available at the Old Train Depot Visitor Information Center at no cost. (See Maps)

Restrictions
Maximum width 96" or 102" on designated highways; maximum height 13'6"; maximum length 42' for single units; maximum gross weight (2 axles) 40,000 lbs; maximum gross weight (3 axles) 42,000 to 60,000 lbs. Depending on the length between axles; maximum speed 55 m.p.h. (unless posted otherwise), or 65 m.p.h. on Interstates posted as such. Charter buses are not required to stop at weight stations.
