The participant guide will be posted on this Web site closer to race date.

PACKET PICK-UP / GEAR CHECK
Athletes are encouraged to pick up packets and check bike/gear prior to race day to avoid rush and confusion.

All athletes must pick up his or her packet in person, show a photo ID and a current USA Triathlon membership card, and sign the Participant Waiver Form. One-day USA Triathlon memberships will be available for purchase at registration.

Pre-event packet pick-up will take place at Fleet Feet Sports, Pipers Alley location on Tues., May 13 and Wed., May 14 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Athletes that pick up packets at Fleet Feet Sports are responsible for getting all items in their packet to Galena. Athletes will be issued only one packet, including race numbers and timing chip. Lost items will not be replaced. Athletes will be charged $30 for lost timing chips. Pick-up procedures will be similar to on-site packet pick-up.

On-site packet pick-up will take place at Nixon Beach at Apple Canyon Lake. Allow at least one hour for packet pick-up and follow the steps outlined in the Participant Guide. Packets must be picked up prior to checking any equipment/gear at either Apple Canyon Lake (Transition #1) or Recreation Park (Transition #2).

Race Packet Pick-up and Bike Check will close promptly at 9 p.m. on Friday. If you are unable to arrive at the Beach House at Nixon Beach for check-in before 9 p.m., please plan to check-in on Saturday morning. Athletes arriving after 9:00 p.m. will not be allowed to pick up their packets or check their gear.

If you are checking equipment/gear Saturday morning, please plan accordingly to ensure that you will be at Nixon Beach ready to race by 8:30 a.m.– transition #1 and transition #2 are located 30 minutes apart.

Overnight security will be provided at both transition areas. No extra equipment (additional wheels, helmets, etc.) will be allowed in the transition area.

Packets will not be mailed. All participants must pick up their packet in person, show a photo ID and a current USA Triathlon membership card, sign the Participant Waiver Form and the Confidentiality Waiver Form. One-day USA Triathlon memberships will be available for purchase at registration.

When: Friday, May 16, 1-9 p.m. SHARP or Saturday, May 17, 6:15-8:15 a.m.

Run Gear Check
Where: Recreation Park, Galena - Transition #2
When: Friday, May 16, 5-9 p.m. or Saturday, May 17, 6:15-7:45 a.m.
